Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the fell 0.40% to hit a new 1-month low, while the index gained 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kering SA (EPA:), which rose 1.51% or 6.85 points to trade at 460.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Hermes International SCA (EPA:) added 1.49% or 26.40 points to end at 1,793.00 and Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:) was up 1.45% or 0.50 points to 35.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Veolia Environnement VE SA (EPA:), which fell 2.36% or 0.69 points to trade at 28.52 at the close. Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin SCA (EPA:) declined 2.19% or 0.66 points to end at 29.50 and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:) was down 2.17% or 1.04 points to 46.94.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:) which rose 4.47% to 29.44, Elior Group (EPA:) which was up 2.60% to settle at 1.94 and Vivendi SA (EPA:) which gained 2.05% to close at 8.46.
The worst performers were Solutions 30 SE (EPA:) which was down 16.79% to 2.20 in late trade, Orpea SA (EPA:) which lost 3.75% to settle at 1.27 and Clariane SE (EPA:) which was down 3.51% to 6.19 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 311 to 187 and 111 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orpea SA (EPA:) fell to all time lows; falling 3.75% or 0.05 to 1.27.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.28% or 5.45 to $1,945.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.40% or 0.36 to hit $89.99 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.05% or 0.05 to trade at $93.35 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.31% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 105.19.
