Yamaha Motor has established Tuning Fork Bio, a company focused on analyzing antibodies in blood.
The new company will be established in Delaware and target markets in the U.S. and Japan, Yamaha said Wednesday.
The company will specialize in so-called antibody profiling, which involves matching antibodies found in patients’ blood with antibodies for known diseases. The company said this information will improve health checkups and help select the best drugs for patients.
The new company will launch in collaboration with Translational Research Center at Fukushima Medical University.
