Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.31% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.93% or 1.90 points to trade at 21.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Sumou Real Estate Company JSCC (TADAWUL:) added 7.73% or 3.60 points to end at 50.20 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) was up 5.97% or 1.16 points to 20.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.18% or 8.80 points to trade at 133.60 at the close. Saudi Basic Industries Corp (TADAWUL:) declined 3.49% or 3.10 points to end at 85.70 and Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:) was down 3.49% or 0.16 points to 4.43.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 135 to 125 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.93% or 1.90 to 21.04.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.07% or 0.06 to $88.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $92.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.35 to trade at $1,933.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 104.39.
