Ferrovial said on Tuesday that it won a contract worth 300 million euros ($337.2 million) to extend a train line in Spain’s northeastern region of Catalonia.
The project on railway line 8 of Catalonia’s regional rail system, done in consortium with Sacyr, Copisa and Copcisa, calls for the building of a new tunnel, the building of three new stations and the renovation of two others.
Work will begin at the end of the summer and will last five years, the Spanish construction company said.
